Good to know

How your membership works.

Everything in plain sentences — what's included, what isn't, and what happens when life changes.

Founding membership

  • The founding price applies to the first 50 members in each family. Once those places are taken, the plan is sold at the standard published price.
  • A founding member keeps their price at every renewal for as long as their membership remains active without interruption.
  • If a membership lapses, rejoining is at the price published on that day.

Your first year

  • The Puppy Year and the Kitten Year are for pets under six months old on the day they join, and can be bought once per pet. They cannot be renewed.
  • The plan runs for twelve months from the day you join, like every other membership.
  • A pet joining at five or six months takes the annual booster in place of the remaining doses of the course. The price does not change.
  • One price applies whatever their breed or size, and it does not change if they grow.
  • At the end of the year we confirm their adult size and you move to any plan you choose. Move within 30 days and your founding price is held.
  • A pet takes either the Start or the Year, not both. Whichever they are on, it can be bought once per pet and does not renew.
  • The training and neutering discounts replace the standard member discount on those services; they are not combined with it.

Using your membership

  • Your membership starts the day you buy it and runs for the number of months in your plan. Included services are valid for that period and do not carry over.
  • Your inclusions belong to the pet named on the membership.
  • Cancel or move a booking free of charge up to 24 hours ahead. A missed appointment counts as used.
  • If your puppy grows into the next size during the year, your price stays as it is until renewal.

Multi-pet families

  • Second pet: 15% off any plan. Third pet onwards: 20% off.
  • Our rooms take more than one pet. The plan is bought once for the room, and each additional pet is added at the member rate shown, up to the room's limit. Whether your pets are comfortable sharing is confirmed with you before the first stay.
  • Plans can be mixed — one pet on Platinum, another on Essential Care.

Travelling, or life changing

  • Freeze your membership once a year, for 7 to 30 days. Your end date simply moves forward by the same number of days. Please tell us 48 hours ahead.
  • Upgrade to a higher plan any time and simply pay the difference. Changes to a lower plan happen at renewal.
  • Moving abroad, or if the worst happens to your pet: we refund what you have paid, less the value of what has already been used. No paperwork battles.
  • One transfer of a membership to another pet per year, free.

What is never included

  • Medicines and retail products are always charged separately. Members get 10% off retail.
  • Surgery and diagnostics are discounted, never free.
  • After-hours emergencies are charged. Members get a priority slot.
  • Play covers weekdays. Weekend daycare is pay-as-you-go.
  • The first daycare visit needs an up-to-date vaccination record and a short behaviour check, free.
  • Tick and flea treatment (Fiprotec) plus internal deworming (Dewormix) are included. If you prefer a specific brand and we stock it, it is charged separately at your membership discount.
  • Hip dysplasia screening does not include anaesthesia.
  • Membership prices are already net. Employer and community partner discounts apply to pay-as-you-go services and are not combined with membership pricing.

Joining the gym

  • Your place and your dog's place are separate rights — if your dog's access is ever paused, your own membership carries on.
  • Every dog completes a short behaviour assessment before their first session. If anything changes later, we may ask to reassess.
  • Bring proof that your dog is vaccinated as the law requires, has a clear giardia test, and is free of fleas, ticks and anything contagious.
  • Children under 14 cannot use the gym. Ages 14 and 15 train alongside a parent or guardian who is a member. From 16 they can train on their own.

On the gym floor

  • On the human floor, dogs stay inside a gated room or on their assigned treadmill, and on the lead anywhere else.
  • One dog per treadmill, never left alone, and we stop straight away if they show any sign of distress.
  • The agility area is the one place dogs are off the lead together.
  • Gated rooms are for one household at a time, and we will bring a dog bed in if we have one free. Please make sure the gate is properly latched.
  • You are responsible for watching and controlling your dog unless you have booked one of our supervised sessions.
  • Please follow our team's instructions and tell us at once about any injury, incident or behaviour that worries you.
  • Dogs who are unwell, injured or in heat should stay home. Aggression, mounting, harassment and guarding mean a session ends early.
  • No running, shouting or teasing around the dogs, and never approach someone else's dog without asking them first.

Kit, hygiene and shared equipment

  • Sports attire and proper athletic footwear in all training areas.
  • Come clean — deodorant and fresh workout clothes, and please go easy on strong scents out of consideration for everyone.
  • Wipe equipment down after every use, and clean or report any sweat, spill or drink straight away.
  • Leave the showers and bathrooms as you would want to find them.
  • Weights, mats and equipment go back where they belong. Please share machines at busy times.
  • No dropping weights, shouting or anything that disrupts other members. Follow our team on equipment safety.

If something happens at the gym

  • Please use the outdoor relief area before you come in. If there is an accident inside, tell us and our team will clean and sanitise it.
  • Our vets are in the same building. If your dog needs help, we will get you to them straight away.
  • You give consent for any treatment, share their history, and cover the cost of any consultation, treatment or medication.

Gym memberships, transfers and closures

  • If you need to stop, the time left on your membership can pass to someone you introduce personally, once their dog passes the assessment and we have approved the transfer. Until then the membership stays yours.
  • Anything you settle privately with the person taking over is between the two of you.
  • Refunds and credits are not given for gym memberships except where the law requires it.
  • Short closures for maintenance, cleaning or safety do not change your dates.
  • The gym is covered by CCTV for everyone's safety, and we sometimes photograph or film for our own channels — tell us in writing beforehand if you would rather not appear.
  • Please keep an eye on your belongings; we cannot take responsibility for anything lost or damaged.

Paying

  • Prices exclude 5% VAT, shown clearly before you confirm.
  • Pay by card or in cash at reception, or securely online.
  • Most memberships run for 12 months, paid in advance, so there is nothing to remember each month. Play, the gym and Beginnings are also available for 3 or 6 months, and the cat day packs are one-time.
